The other Tesonet co-founder, Eimantas Sabaliauskas, emphasizes the initiative’s social mission: “We have a double objective. On one hand, we aim to introduce the highest possible standards and learning opportunities — ones that rival the best international schools. However, an even more critical aspect is bridging the gap between students in cities and those in the regions. Talent isn’t restricted by location. That is why we aim to provide free private education to Lithuania’s most gifted children, ensuring their future is defined by their ability and effort, not by their address or family income.”
From acquiring educational institutions to building new ones
To bring this vision to life, we’ll be looking for long-term partners who share our commitment. We’re exploring all possible avenues — whether that’s acquiring leading private schools, universities, or other education institutions across Lithuania or building new ones from scratch. The final direction will depend on finding the right cultural fit and strategic synergy with the institutions and partners who join us.
This initiative builds on our previous investments in education, including Turing College, an educational technology startup, Vedliai, a computer science education program for grades 1-10. We also contributed to the Švietimas#1 initiative and launched Generation AI, bringing artificial intelligence tools to Lithuanian schools with nexos.ai and Hostinger Horizons.
This new long-term investment marks our most ambitious step yet: the transition from tactical initiatives to the systematic development of a private education ecosystem.
