Kurianti karta, a joint venture established by Tesonet and INVL Private Equity Fund II, has appointed Mantas Katinas as its CEO.
Established earlier this year, Kurianti karta focuses on developing high-quality, modern private education in Lithuania, with the ambition of making quality education more accessible and building a sustainable learning ecosystem across different stages of education.
A strong combination of experience
Mantas brings more than a decade of leadership experience across technology, business, investment and education.
Before joining Kurianti karta, he spent more than five years leading Wargaming Vilnius and six years in leadership roles at Invest Lithuania, the agency responsible for developing foreign investment in Lithuania.
He has also been actively involved in Lithuania’s education and innovation ecosystem. Mantas is a board member of ISM University of Management and Economics, Chairman of the Board of Unicorns Lithuania, and has previously served on the Council of Kaunas University of Technology.
For Mantas, the opportunity to lead Kurianti karta is closely connected to the broader importance of education and its role in Lithuania’s future.

A joint venture between Tesonet and INVL
Kurianti karta was established jointly by Tesonet Group and INVL Private Equity Fund II, with each holding a 50% stake in the company.
The partnership brings together complementary experience and resources. Tesonet contributes its experience in technology and building businesses, while INVL brings extensive investment expertise and a long-term approach to value creation.
According to Eimantas Sabaliauskas, co-founder of Tesonet, Mantas brings together two areas that are particularly important to the venture:

Kurianti karta’s goal is to invest in education and develop a sustainable learning ecosystem spanning the educational journey from early childhood education to university and professional studies.
The company aims to build a group of education organisations and technologies in Lithuania that respond to changing needs and help advance the quality of private education.
Kurianti karta is jointly owned by Tesonet Group and the private equity fund INVL Private Equity Fund II, managed by alternative asset manager INVL Asset Management.
