Tesonet invests in Fomo’s mission to make financial markets more accessible globally
Tesonet is joining Fomo on their mission to make investing seamless for everyone. Backed by a Series B financing led by Index Ventures, with participation from Union Square Ventures and Benchmark Capital, we're aligned in the belief that international investing should be more accessible globally.

In just over a year, Fomo has grown into a global platform where more than 625,000 users have completed over $4 billion in trading volume and generated more than 110 million social interactions. More than 68,000 people have made their first investment through Fomo using Apple Pay, reflecting the team’s commitment to making financial markets more accessible to consumers around the world.

The company recently announced a $75 million Series B financing led by Index Ventures, with significant participation from Union Square Ventures and Benchmark Capital. The financing will support continued product innovation, global expansion, and the development of what Fomo believes will become the social layer of financial markets.

Over the past few months, the team has demonstrated an exceptional ability to move quickly and execute at scale. From the launch of Fomo Perpetuals — which generated more than $95 million in volume during its first week — to the introduction of Fomo Web, a social-first desktop experience designed for the next generation of investors, the pace of innovation has been remarkable.

Currently, we are witnessing a fundamental shift in how financial markets operate. Just as trading transitioned from paper to fully digital systems over the past several decades, markets are now moving on-chain — creating a financial system that is globally accessible, transparent, and programmable by default. This transition opens the door to entirely new consumer experiences, where social interaction is built directly into the fabric of investing.
