The origins
Eimantas Sabaliauskas and Tomas Okmanas met in an IRC chat room in 1999. What began as a simple conversation grew into a friendship — and eventually into a shared decision to embrace the uncertainty of a founder's life, and build something disruptive from the ground up.
It didn't work right away. They went through 34 failed projects — from e-commerce to video games and everything in between. Each failure taught them when to push forward, when to pivot, and when to walk away.
In 2008, one of those ideas finally took off. What started as a startup became the foundation of the venture builder Tesonet is today.
